I'm not sure any of them sounded quite right, there is a little get together happening in Virginia in 8 days with some audiophiles to see if the sounds can be captured. No, I'm not an audiophile but I can press the accelerator pedal to make thing go vroom, vroom. The header definitely alters the sound of a cat back in a way some find unpleasant, it drove me nuts for little bit but I'm used to it now.

I'm no audiophile either...those are guys that have $20,000 pairs of speakers and CD players that cost the same as what our cars appear to be worth these days. Not sure I buy into that stuff anyways. I do have the correct gear and roughly 25 years in the audio biz, including radio engineering, live sound, live recording band and PA reinforcement mixing and the like, so I'm hoping to be able to do this project some justice. Should be fun too. Open to everyone, so if you can make it next Saturday, Feb 23rd, come on by. My shop is in Sterling, VA very close to Dulles airport. Please send an e-mail or PM for directions.

I've posted some audio clips from the cars that made it last Saturday. Go here:

From the home page, click on the 968 logo.

I hope to do more recordings in the future, perhaps at Hershey, as based on these results, I now have some ideas for better recording techniques and such. Enjoy!
