That belt cover is not plastic, don't worry we will take care of the heat issues.

I know the cam gear cover isn't, but you might take another look at what's below it. Sorry if I am making an obvious statement concerning heat, but you'd be amazed at some of the things I've seen people do and would rather risk stating the obvious, just to be safe.

Regards,

Believe me I have spent plenty of time looking at it! and I am not the only one, it is tight but it is just one of the things that we have to deal with, there will be no shortage of heatshields.

Looks good. Changing the belts is not going to be fun. I love the Dash!

Haven't put anything in this thread for ages, progress is not rapid, but getting there.
Exhaust is complete, this is not a simple part, there is a lot heatshielding yet to be completed.Exhaust mounts are fabricated using stainless stell bushes to limit movement. It is 4" equivalent all the way.

Default Intercooler

We wanted to get as a big an intercooler as would fit the available space.
Have deleted the bumber bar. It flows top to bottom.
Am using RS bumper inlet and bonnet scoop. The front is sealed to help flow

If only they were my fabrication skills! The guys doing the work are very capable, and it is no small shop.
But it will be a while yet before she goes.

Default Sunroof Delete

It is a crazy thing to do, but I always wanted to get rid of the sunroof, I am putting a cage in the car so the extra space is useful, but even visually I prefer it.As you can see it means I can get a bit of weight out of the top of the car.
The roof is new from porsche. It is just sitting in place for now, nice fit.

Excellent project mate

Can I ask how much you paid for the solid roof skin over in Aus?

Cheers,
Mark

Default Great progress

Hi there,

Would also like to know the price of the roof skin.. In Finland it's stupid expensive, if I remember correctly it's something like 2300 Euros or so..
