Yes it wasn't cheap, but not that much, around that figure in A$ so about half the finnish price. Not sensible, but oh it will be so nice, and the cage will fit so well.

Looking good Rod. Nice to see some real progress. That exhaust looks amazing.
I like the roof idea too.

The work looks stunning. I can't wait to see more pictures of progress. With the 3.1 16v what sort of daily boost settings are you going to be using? Is this primarly a track car? Estimated power levels at track settings/street settings?

My target has always been about 500hp crank at 1 bar, big numbers have never been a priority, it is more about torque and response, but it is to be a street/track, full interior full cage.
But that is just the initial aims, it should be capable of a lot more, that will be for later

That's amazing exhaust work, and the whole project is just another one that shows me how little I know about cars. That exhaust being so close to the fuel lines worn't be a problem? I guess the fuel flows pretty fast through them. Also your cage will be tucked away well enough that you won't need to worry about wearing a helmet for street driving? Great project.

WOW I am really impressed. I have seen and done some things but your fabrication looks second to none, nice job. Keep the pics coming- cannot wait to see the finished product...

Stunned is all I can say! You are doing what I have always wanted to do with mine but never had the time, money or patience. It's nice to know that there will be an example like this out there in the world. Do you have an idea on what the final weight will be for the car? Please, keep sending pictures.
