Default Anyone recognize this car?

Recognize this car? It's touted as a 968. Sorry it's the only size foto I have. I got it from an Spanish web site.

That is the Arktech Motorsports 968. They are a Japanese team that, at one time, were selling body kits.

For a track car....this would look good. I like it.

Thanks, Greimann, for the ID and fotos.

Here are some pictures of the body kit they offered. Kinda wild on the front, although I wouldn't mind the rocker panels.

Yea I agree. Rocker panels and the spoiler nice. Then stick with the chin spoiler, their front end is something I would expect to see on a rice rocket.

I posted pictures of the car a while back. A friend of mine was working on RX7's in Japan and got to work for the RE Amemiya team at one JGTC race. He got to see all the cars and took some pictures of the engine bay for this 968 because he knew I would be interested. The turbo sits on the exhaust side in this car and not the stock location by the intake manifold.

Hi All - Bringing back an old post... I actually have a 968 coupe car with this Arktech that was imported from Japan. I am in the process of putting it back to stock. If anyone is interested in swapping parts let me know. The car is located in Western MA. Thank you!

There was a known sister car in the US. It would have some providence in racecar circles. Your one might be it. you should make molds of the kit....

Hey - Mine was definitely a Japanese Import. I don't think it ever had any real race track experience. I thought about taking molds.. the only part I really like is the rear bumper diffuser. Its very 951 like
