Where did you find these Recaros? The seat in my 968 is the only thing I don't like about the car. They are mushy in the seat bottom and lower back. Even though they look very similar to other seats I have and have had, they just aren't as firm.

great choice - i have the sportlines - love them - i was on a weight savings tirade, so i gave up the power adjustment and the heated / vented seats to save the extra 13 lbs each that would have added - other than that, they are the same

i designed different adaptors though so i could drop the seat down a bit - the ones that recaro sent were too tall - i picked up over a half inch of vertical clearnace and ended up losing another 9 lbs in the process too

nice going - enjoy

cool - recaro makes a great product - it was a natural evolution, since the orignal seats were also recaro - i shipped them the porsche perforated cashmere leather, and they incorporated it into a custom made pair of black/cashmere seats to go with the deviating black/cashmere interior

Miles -
I've been doing some "seat shopping" for the 951, and was curious abt the Rcaros. How well does the Electric tilt, recline, vent and heat work? Seen plenty of pics and info on the web but no feedback on real world functionality.

Miles, nice seats. I'm sure the buy went smooth, Rob from NY is a very nice guy.

bumb...becuase there's only a day left and for the following question

"Miles -

same question from me. Too bad the seats you have up aren't cashmere, I'd be all over them.

Hey,
I must have overlooked your question, sorry. The electric tilt/recline work great!. The vent/heat do not feel like they do much at all, although I have not used them much at all.
