Default Stock or MO30 springs wanted for 968

Hi all,

Looking for a pair of front springs for my 968. I'm looking for stock height and spring rate. If my forum reading is correct there are both M030 variable rate springs and constant rate springs - either will be fine.

You can post here or PM me.

Thanks,

Phil

pretty sure there are a couple of sets of stock springs floating around here amongst the local members - do you want cab or coupe springs? according to the shop manual, they are the same rate, but slightly different height

Raj, Are those cupcar springs the normal spring rates - something on the neighborhood of 160lbs. I thought I had read about some that were quite bit stiffer and I"m looking to go with the stock height and rate. I had heard that the M030 springs were essentialy the same but wound to have a variable spring rate if that makes any sense...

Thanks,

Phil

dave (greimann) and ron (midblu) both changed their's out to H&R, so they may be willing to part with the stock ones

Phil, they are rising rate. This is all based on memmory, I think they go from 160#s to 450#s depending on the rate. They are coiled with different diameters on each end.
In essence, they are nice when you want them to be and firm when you push it.
