Default Werks / Amelia Island

The 968 car count is always low at Werks. Who’s going besides me?

Well here's what's hilarious - or sad. So this morning it occurs to me that I have yet to see my packet in the mail. Start searching - it appears that I forgot to register. Swell... I've NEVER missed registering!!!! Until now that is...

Anyone know anyone who registered and now can't go????

Keep checking the Porsche Club website classified section as you usually see some passes for sale.

I wish it was all age. Most of it is my insane post-covid schedule...

Thanks all - Cliff

I saw a bunch of 968s when I drove up last year. However, I'm here with the car and my family is there. Bummer.

Hope those going enjoy!

I think I'm going to Rennsport Reunion RR7 at Laguna Seca.

Anybody else?

Well it was a better than average 968 showing. 5 in Coral and one in the judged field. I typically see a “rouge” 968 every year (one that doesn’t appear at Werks) but that didn’t happen this year. It was a good weekend and I’ll not miss purchasing my pass next year. Another interesting note, here is my bidder badge for Bonhams auction. I had to laugh when they handed it to me. You think they are trying to tell me something?? 🤔

Somebody paid $28K for a 93 Alfa Spider? They must have some strong drinks there!
