Question Cabriolet removable hardtop?

Is there an aftermarket company that makes a removable hardtop for a Cabriolet 968? I think the lines would be nice, and the cabriolets seem to go for so much less than coupes.

I'm going to see a cabriolet that's for sale over the weekend, just wonderin'....

Not that I’ve ever heard of. Not only would it need to mate with the header they would also need to be some attachment points fabricated around the rear quarter panel / trunk area …
Jeffrey Coe would know as he is the one of a few unofficial USA gurus of the 968

I have never seen a removable hardtop for a 968 cab in my 27 years of 968 ownership. That said, just like with any convertible, the lines are best with the top down

The Cabs go for double the price of a FHC (coupe) if not more here in Australia.
There were only 9 Cabs bought in apparently.

I own two coupes and a cab. My cab is my favorite. That said, the coupes are more desirable and bring in more money then the cabs here in North America.

No, it is because PCA and others, do not require a roll bar in the Coupe for DE days. For the Convertibles they do.

For sure, I love driving the 968. Put the top down on a nice day, even better

Flash had planned to develop one for the 968 but eventually decided to sell his 968s and close Design 1 Racing before he got around to it. He made some really nice products for the 968.
