Busy weekend so just one tweak: shorty antenna. At some point in the distant future when I get the car painted I'll "shave" the antenna completely, since the car has no radio anyway. But in the meantime this is a significant improvement.
It's been a busy few weeks with very little car time. But when time has allowed I've been repairing the mounting holes in the spoiler, using a strategic combination of washers and JB-Weld.
And then today I got busy with the rattle cans:
It was getting dark by the time I'd finished getting it all buttoned up, so no pictures of the finished product just yet. The paint finish isn't the best quality but I'm pretty happy with how it looks - I keep reminding myself that the objective here is a facsimile of a (hypothetical) US-market CS at 30 years old and 150k+ miles, not of a brand new one.
Couldn't resist taking a couple of pics now that the newly-red bits are fitted. The spoiler still needs a little more buffing, but you get the overall idea ...
Latest purchase is the correct 944 digital clock, which will be fitted once I've replaced the bulb and screen.
