Very nice. Wonder if it is a re-VIN (option 718) or a true '94...Which begs the question...Do you like the '92-'93 seat covers or the '94-'95 seat covers?

Here's a low mile (38K) black cab on ebay for $21K or best offer that just showed up. Tiptronic.

Can't tell from this pictures. the different styles both have their fans. I prefer the earlier style because it matches the door panel design better,

Those are great deals. As far as seats go, I was surprised how much softer the padding and the leather are on my early model seats vs my newer model seats. I prefer the newer model mainly because the stiffness makes them look much less worn as they age. The tan leather in that tiptronic is in outstanding condition.

It has been listed before so there may be some issue with it. I have not seen it in person but the emblem is a flag that requires additional inspection.

Is it the conventional wisdom here that BaT is the preferred venue for selling better specimens? Asking for a friend.

Holy Low Mileage Black Cabs!

I'm in the Daytona Beach area for my annual one month work and don't really vacation in a rental condo. I ride my bicycle almost every day, and for years I've seen a house with a black 968 cab in the garage, but never seen it out. Two days ago the door was open so I could find the house again, and yesterday, for the first time, the car was out in the driveway!

Looked at it from the street, then I saw the owner come out, an older gentlemen. Here I am in my road bike clothes asking him if I can talk to him about his car.....he says yes.

1992, and he's the ORIGINAL OWNER! He bought it in the Detroit area after getting divorced, saw it on the Porsche dealer lot while driving by. Bought it within the next week. How many miles? 38K original miles!

I was talking to him about the spec of 968's, I knew more about the details of the car as compared to him. Told him about Jeff's site and how to get there, he was very interested.

Jeff: it's a 92 with the last three of the Vin being 510.

He's not selling, but his present wife thinks he should. He brought the car down to FL about 10 years or so ago. It is in really nice shape.....had salt/dust on it because this is on the ocean.....the interior is perfectly clean.

Looks great. Salt and humidity are not your cars friend. Thanks for the images.
