Cobalt Blue vs Black Metallic
I have been on the hunt for a 968 cab. Looks like I will get one of these two. I love the Cobalt Blue. It is a '92 and has 116K miles but has been well maintained.. The Black cab is a '93 and has 41K miles but needs a number of little things as well as timing and valve train service and four tires. I have it on good authority (Jeff968) that it is a 1 of 1 car due the paint/interior/top combo. Both cars are similar in price. What would you do? Would love all input:
Cobalt Blue
I like this color
Accent interior option
Pictures don't seem to do this car justice.

Make sure you get a good look at the metallic black paint color. The metallic is actually a gold flake so it gives it a brownish/goldish haze. Different.
I also like the cobalt better and love that interior. that said, it is a matter of personal taste so if you like the black metallic, go for it.

Thank you for the input. The black paint looks brown in most the images I've seen. When I first saw the images I asked myself who would paint this car UPS brown! I am not really that fond of this black but I don't hate it. I am struggling between the heart, cobalt, and the head, low mileage, 1 of 1 car.

I'm not a fan of the blue dash and steering wheel, but I do like Cobalt blue. The mileage of the black car is attractive, but a well cared for 968 is not going to be a problem @ 116. BTW, one of my cars is a metallic black coupe. I really can't remember a time when I looked at my car and felt that it appeared brown.
What is the price disparity?

The price is $17K total (sales tax and registration) for the black car and still negotiating on cobalt but asking price is $15.6K. Would love to see a picture of your black coupe.

How about Iris Blue Metallic with 105.6 and less expensive than both?

Cobalt. But I lean blue. Had a Tahoe and a Midnight. Also had a black. Loved em all but black so hard to care for and if its not perfect then its really not perfect. Hate the blue wheel. Plasti it red!
