I proposed them not to take the rear glass out, they have lifted the seals in order to sand the paint lying underneath it.

MeanMachine, congratulations and it is looking good.
Question: Why did the body shop not take the front fenders off for prep and paint?

Just make sure that there is no "masking line" that is visible on inside the fender where the hood closes, on the bolts, etc. I am sure that you have a great body shop, but when the fenders are not taken off, the body man has to decide on the masking line and you don't want that line to be seen at all, etc...

So, when this job is all said and done and a very picky guy goes to judge your car, you don't want any hints of masking seen on any of the painted parts, etc...as if all the parts were taken off and individually painted. That is basically the objective of a high dollar paint job, or high dollar restorations...

I can PM you more if I am not making any sense here.

I bet that you are excited to get this car back?

Thanks, they are professional. I will take more pics on the upcoming days to show in detail. The front bonnet was removed whilst respray, hopefully it wont be an issue.
