That little speedo gear I recently took out of my 965 that was sitting for 23 years just crumbled in my hands. 100% of these speedos requiring a rebuild today. Yes, Most can see how fast they are going with the needle working but no miles clicking.
As a result keeping the miles low on some of these cars and the value up high.

I have never had one fail yet! Although for some strange reason the speedo on The SBox just stopped working completely. Not a big deal it is a track car and will never have much value. I think my problem is more extensive. Most likely some house hold wire nut that someone used to splice into the harness I am missing and will need to track down and fix.

RoW parts car. Proof the spare is part of the crashworthiness of these tubs.

Ouch, hope the driver survived. Nice to see the airbag worked (for those of us without Momo wheels. I'm tempted to buy those wheels wouldn't mind trying the cup styles on mine as a more subtle alternate to the speedlines. Just in a subtle mood lately, less flash. Took the fake low bull bar off my G63 yesterday, it looks a lot friendlier. I don't get the current design trend. Fake tough, mean/loud, false design.

Whoa, See that spare rim is bent. Area where the brake lines going through is twisted and ABS pump is not sitting good. Surprised it's still sitting on all four wheels. Transmission is broken. Engine Mounting points might be broken. That rear bumper is over a foot.
Does the owner want to sell it?

LOL And we didn't get the vin. That is a lot of coin for a lot of work and expense ahead.

Give me a break. I want some of what these guys are smoking. Full restoration on a supposedly low mileage car and an $85k bill for $35k worth of work. I guess they think if they pump up the rebuild cost it will entice people to buy? I don't get it!!!!

Someone was grossly overcharged for the paint and engine work. I looked at the pictures and I can eye ball flaws on the photos. Scratches, damage, corrosion, markings, etc. It looks like a normal car with 30k driven miles. I guess at this point it doesn’t matter, but the price will reflect that. I have actually restored cars and no way that word can be used here.

That car doesn't offer much for 65 euro. May be a factory 965 #

Anthony, I just pulled a trans back out of a 997S after trying to bleed the master cylinder 50 times. Then decided to replace both S &M cylinder. Properly bled it. Still couldn't get the car into gear. Took the pressure plate off and on again and again to find out the internal springs of the New Pressure plate were budging out. 30 hours chasing one stupid bad part. PARTS today are F'n horrible. I would expect to see constant over charging because of the bull**** shops have to go through when they know that owner can afford to pay. BUT yes that receipt doesn't add up. May be the exhaust does. Custom Fab work takes time. You know.
