I can’t get the last push pin to engage the one right in front of the shark fin. 😢 Any ideas guys?

I had the same problem on the one near the front wheel, no matter what i couldn't get it to click in . I took it off the part and it clicked in fine. Interested to hear why.

Did you try a different pin or grommet ? It’s almost like it won’t push in far enough. Another thing the one speed nut on the shark fin near the oil thermostat still thinkingnon that one

Yes I purchased all new pins and those red things that go into the body, I'm pretty sure you are right, the shape of my side will must be slightly different to my body and won't go in far enough.

My shark tins are for some reason aftermarket fiberglass so cant relate on that one.

I have a solution if the issue is the rear most clip on the sill. https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...refurb-72.html

Good one john, don't know how I didn't think of offering this advice. This is how my aftermarket shark fins are attached.

IIRC I put the plastic nut between my forefinger and next finger, place it on the bolt end and give it a slight turn. Once the nut is on the bolt I use a ratchet spanner, similar to this. It is possible.
