Default Keep It UP!

Been following your project since your first day and first post. You have gone way above and way beyond. I think this is a milestone in your life that will have other rewards yet to be seen. I am very very happy happy for you. Even my wife now asks hows the "green" car project going! Looking forward to a picture of you with the car with the fresh repaint. Jack

I did this little excitement to make sure all would go well😥. It didn't quite work out. I can see faint scratches in the Mint Green. Madd me sad but happy I hadn't sprayed the rest of the car. I need to go back over the car with 600 grit shouldn't take long though. Not that big of a deal especially since we had tons of smoke from the MT fires and my eyes have felt like sand paper.
Raining now so smoke is gone 👍

That's too bad. FWIW I just watched that 30 minute video by Larry from AmmoNYC or is it NYCAmmo.... anyway, it was very detailed and covered the paint part of the full restoration of his 964C4. One thing that stood out to me is that they went down to 800 grit paper on the primer just to ensure there were no scratch marks.

Good luck with this project. I look forward to the updates. Makes me wish my car was mint green.
