😁 good to hear from you again Steve my goal in the next couple of weeks is to get the interior back in drivers side door and windows the install the front and rear windshields. Also need to reinstall everthing in the frunk. I need to be able to start Talia up so I can move her out of the garage so I can paint the deck lids and bumper covers and mirror components. 😎👍
No still working on it between real job , wife jobs 😏 and grandkids and dogs I only get at most a few hours a week to get after it. I will today finish installing the hvac suitcase, fire wall or bulkhead (have seen it called both) and if all goes smoothly the fuel tank.
Thank you for checking in
John
weather should start warming up soon too John. Hoping that helps all of us with our to-do lists (at least those of us with cold garage floors )
Thanks for continuing to post on your progress here. We're out here, watching, listening, and clearly a LOT of RL Community cheering you on.
Hey, at first when I looked at the shelf in your garage, I thought maybe that was a picture of you & Matt,... but then noticed it was a calendar. You should have your wife take some time to print out some nice pictures & laminate (so your grubby hands don't ruin them, hehe), and hang them around the garage as inspiration. I just recently did that (cuz I'm older now too), plus created a collage of simple 4x6 printouts too. I just took some laminate sheets 8x11, peel them off, sticky side up, then just lay all your pics down to stick them permanently & WhaaLa, done. Easy peazy. Anyway, just a thought. Pics help me stay motivated, remind me of the good times & the reasons why I love this hobby. Just a thought. Put the wife to work too. ;-)
Take care & keep plugging away John. We all know the challenges of finding an hour here, and hour there to work in the garage.

Reason: added pic of collage
Steve my friend good to hear from you
I just came in from working on Talia I got the hvac and bulkhead in. Decided to get done breakfast. We still have snow on the ground here with more to come. We can massive blizzards here clear into May. About 10 years ago we got 3 blizzards the first 3 weeks in May 😁. I think I will go out the fuel tank in in a bit. My only concern there is the check valve for the hvac is awol but I do believe I can get it in from beneath so I probably will drop the tank in 👍
I also am having a bit of trouble getting the left front fender lining up correctly started getting frustrated with it so I move to the hvac plenty to do in the frunk do no big deal.
Great to hear from you Steve
John
