The metal connection you have where the pipe inserts looks identical to my car. The rubber gasket fits into that like a big grommet the tube slides into that. Held on by a hose clamp over the metal tube where the slots are on it.
Order #7 and you should be good. Just use a little silicone paste to make it go together nice.
Soooo busy with work no time for the antiques. My 89 is at the shop getting of bunch of work done and my 964 has been sitting at my other garage covered up after not driving it for 6 weeks. Well, brought it over to my house and I'm installing a proper RS blower heater bypass (replacing the rennline carbon one) and installing the Oem air box. Will do that this evening and take for a spin.
Hey there. I'm doing this mod as well but with the rennline carbon fiber bypass. Any reason why you're switching to the RS bypass? Fitment an issue? Thanks for any info.
Rennline one fit fine. Why? I dunno period correct? :-) I'm not a big carbon fiber fan....
Ok gotcha! Period correct sounds about right. I was thinking the carbon would stick out like a sore thumb as it will be the only carbon piece in the bay. You happen to have the part number for the RS piece? Thanks in advance.
