John, please put that in your wallpaper section of your website- I'd really like a higher res version for my PC

We also found that the 89 cars have an auxilary spring on the throttle return, mounted on a rather nifty ali post. No idea why...
You forgot to mention the wiper arm comparisons (single versus double springs)

OK, John B, you were a bit quick of the mark in getting to the Album just now and commenting on my typos. They are now corrected and apologies to Paula.

You have a point there...
However, I only know the Blue Nun as 'Brian' which may or may not be his real name of course.

And then, of course, was the chap we met at Castle Coombe really the Blue Nun? Does the Blue Nun really exist or is he a figment of JB's imagination? Is this becoming a pointless thread? Why hasn't my new chair arrived.

So many questions....

After some painstaking pc horror, i've managed to get a fairly poor quality (only 7mb though) movie of a lap of castle combe with john miles.
I will play around more and get a better quality file up there soon, as well as some clips filmed from the last corner and thru the esses. Hopefully in the next few hours.

here's the first file (you will need the divx codec to view it) :

play file from :
http://www.carmovies.net/gallery/alb...miles_divx.avi

or save file from :
http://www.carmovies.net/gallery/pcgb_combe_03

Hi Greg

Something funny about this file - I get the sound (which is great!) but no picture

Cheers

Phil - have you got the DivX codec for Mac? Try the divx website http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/

I get the picture fine, but I'm in the office pretending to work so I can't turn the sound up!
