Andy - try saving it instead, then playing it from the saved file - sounds like your download speed is too slow to stream the video.

Greg - why am I answering these questions!?

Rob,

I've tried that too! I've got broadband, so don't think the speed is the problem! I'm wondering if the file has sinc ebecome damaged!

Sorry we've had some internet probs at work today, its only just started working again. Sorry to muck people about having to download codecs etc. Phil, glad you got it working.

I have uploaded another six movies to the same place : http://www.carmovies.net/gallery/pcgb_combe_03

One of the new files is the same John Miles lap, but it should play fine without a divx codec . enjoy .

Quite apart from the fact that 'my' drifting vid just made my day (did you notice how I gave you a wave after showing off?), the camera work is outstanding as well!

You coming to Oulton Park, Greg?

JB,

You coming to Oulton Park, Greg?
You chaps must have plenty of money!
Just had a look on PCGB web site and the cost of the Oulton day is £275 for members (I`m not so ) and £325 for non members
There are plenty of much cheaper days than this; I haven`t paid more than £180.
Unless numbers are really low and there`s a free lunch I can`t see why the cost is so high.

When is Oulton Park? I'd love to take part, but i'm not a member of pcgb . Still, i might be up for coming along to spectate / blag more passenger laps & take some more DV footage.

ps. i would have uploaded vids of the GT2 and the GT3 and the 993rs, but they simply were not going as fast as John Miles & JB !

Oulton is reputedly very expensive - that's why the club always has its Oulton days rather out of season.

Having said that, I've been there on non-Porsche Club events but don't think they cost so much.

Greg,

Oulton Park is in Cheshire - quite a drive for you, but it would be great if you could come. To pinch an expression from Piers, it's fanbloodytastic!

Tony, six speed??
Yes

JB,

I`m there on 30th Sept and 25th Oct (which is a Sat) for less ( a lot less)
I could still be tempted as Oulton is one the best circuits there is but it will rain if I go

Cool vid

Steve Kevlin has confirmed that there is a new PCGB day at Brands Hatch on Wednesday 19th November for £150. Willl probably be an open pit lane.

I will be signing up as I have never been to Brands and everyone tells me it is great fun.

Anyone else?

J
