What a great day! On and off the track. The motor drive on my new camera sure racks up the pics - 265 taken - 90% rubbish. Plenty of sorting to do later in the week. In the meantime here are two.

Mr. Boggiano chauffering Mrs. Boggiano and an arty pic of six of our 964 lined up nice and neatly.

John

Great to meet you guys yesterday, looked like a lot of fun out there.

I'll make sure I take the day off next time and get the C2 out on the track instead of just wishing I was out there.

Best regards,

Rob W

Perfect .
The only place i can think of that has less scenery to hit is bedford autodrome.

It was great fun yesterday, many thanks John M for the passenger sessions. There will be some downloadable video of the event on my carmovies.net site tomorrow hopefully.

all the best,
Greg

Default Just got back...

Thanks everyone for making it such a great day, in every sense.

Here's some of my pics...

Paula, me, Rob(mug), Greg(L), Phil(t**t) , the BS, John (Miles).

John M takes Rob around the bend. (The photographer couldn't be bothered to walk beyond the fence!)

Good grief - you must have read my post before even I did!

Yep - trip was OK. Car running nice and smoothly, oil gauge still bouyant, tyres still round.

Don't forget Sept. 21, as well as Oulton in early Oct.

Just happened to log in at the right time!

Are you planning to do CC again in October (23rd)?

Here's some more photos:

First, JB at the wheel!

Second, JB approaching Quarry Corner at 120mph (JB quote "I think I reach about 106mph - perhaps Rob will take a look when we're out")

Can't make 23rd, sadly.

Forgot the highlights -

John M. can make a stock 964 C4 do things that are simply not possible. Phil didn't flinch when I greeted him with, 'Hello, Phil, you t**t!', but the Blue Shadow thought I had taken leave of my senses!
Paula had someone admire her wheelchair's wheels (!) and ate an old, wet sponge for lunch, whilst John had egg & chips (best choice!) and Rob had cat food off a Teletubbies plate.
Most of us ended up at a pub which did a superb BBQ burger and Greg and I spent the entire evening enthusing about the Nurburgring.

It was a really superb day out - great cars, great people.

Edit: My knuckles look a bit white in that shot, don't they!

Edit #2: We found out that Phil owes me £10 from years ago (long story) but I'm not getting it! (But Adrian's fund is, which is fine by me).

Great pics John, especially the line-up shot from underneath the 'log fence'.

Ta. Didn't notice the little twig when I took it!

When I saw the yellow 993RS, I thought it was yours - you should have been there!
