looks like the guy who was flipping the black 'PCA classifieds' 964 (with the Ruf rims) pulled the ad. i guess he found his audience knew too much about the car's history.

it's certainly their choice to buy a car with the intention to flip it and this guy says he's not a 'dealer', so that should mean that he has to register the vehicle in his state and pay the appropriate taxes before he can sell it again (assuming the title was signed over to him). the funny part though, is they tack on $11k or $15k and then list it HERE! if any group will know of the vehicle(s), it's this group!! the one group, that i'm aware of, that's catalogs/knows cars better is the 500E group. they have everything in a registry and a simple VIN can bring up most of the car's history. flipping there would be suicide. these guys need to develop a new selling method - maybe some place where the potential buyers won't know what they just paid for it.

David - They've had it for ages and from what I gather their business practices are shady at best per the reviews I came across. Not sure why it has not sold, perhaps the car, the sleazy dealer, or most likely a combination of both. If you're interested and since you're somewhat local, you may be in a better position but be alert and ready for this...

Might be the special side airbags they talk about.

It's also nice to see $3k worth of rims wrapped in the cheapest possible tires (Nankang). "Priorities"
