as expected it didn’t sell, its back on market
PO (not flipper) sold it to flipper for mid $30s. Thats probably what it was worth. Now sounds like flipper is a POS... if anyone has the car’s VIN please post it.

of course the PO was not a flipper , the po around July of 2019 had their broker sell it on pelican for a fair price of around $35,000 since it had rust and issues, this guy nrets617 bought it and lied said its going to good home and all the bs, then a day after he got it he listed it on PCA and pelican for $60,000 It didn’t sell and PCA banned him for lying in the ad (see pelican post) he waited till now thinking summer is coming and he can pull his scam, too bad for him the broker of po saw his ad and bumped his own old ad exposing seller.

and yes we need the vin so we can list it, the seller is a liar and cheat obviously and won’t disclose the issues with the car

so that’s the same seller that should be avoided. Karma really works in mysterious ways , the vin to the car just got posted by the PO which the shady seller bought from.

Here it is

92 964 C4 Targa

anf the thread discussing the issues , rust and shady seller is here

I’m not sure if this car has been discussed here or not but thought I’d post it here.

I have never trusted these imports. I see a number of them and they all present better than they are. Just odd that it has had a full color change from a color like Amazon to black at such low miles.

Anthony - I agree with you. This particular car presents very well and will likely sell in the $70s or above given that it has no sunroof. I think the color change is typically Japanese and you'll have to have somebody do a PPI to make sure it wasn't an accident. I have so far spent $31k on the Japanese import i bought on BAT last year and it's a great car now. There is lots of stuff that people forget about, like changing the speedometer, the headlights, the Japanese market radio, etc. Is the tool kit and compressor missing? The jack?

fact is none of these cars are cheap and we like our toys too much. Spot on with the PPI, it is a must.

I have not been impressed by most 3.8 builds. Most have minimal gains and unless it is a machine fit I wouldn't touch the slip in cylinders.

I like them but they are no longer for sale. For the money I would go with Fiske Fuchs ala Singer. But they do suit the black car IMO.
