Car looks good and most major concerns were addressed plus extras. I'll do a nice short shifter and stock wheels to enjoy daily driving her.

I know the owner of that car, he's a good guy. I've done some Audi business with him in the past. I haven't seen it in person but I suspect he didn't cut corners. Frankly, I'm suprised he's selling it.

Hi everyone, I hope you and your families are safe during this time.
I came across this 964 for sale locally to me, any observations from what is visible in these pics? It does have an accident on carfax from 1997. Any thoughts on price?

That 90 sold for strong money considering the list of needs and associated costs.

The Baltic Blue car sold. I think the door bolts were done as a detail, not the opposite. He obviously wasn't trying to hide the fact it had been resprayed Guards Red when he got it and made the effort to return it to original.

I bought the Baltic Blue 1990 C2. The one with gold wheels (not ones I'd choose). The ad said the engine had been resealed, and it had a couple years ago, but a full rebuild was done last August as well. In addition the seller had a new clutch and components done then too. It had a windows out, re-paint a couple years ago and all the rubber for windows, doors, and body were replaced. I spoke to the guy who painted it and he didn't see any rust or other problems and thought it was very nice car. He felt his repaint went very well and it looks great (what else). He's also going to paint the door hinge bolts for me. I think it's a good, solid car with fresh paint and engine, that I bought for a great price--and I've been looking for several months now. I plan to change the wheels out (17" Fuchs), do all the suspension bushings and joints (thankfully it has fairly new coil overs, that saves me money), brake lines (possibly rebuild the calipers), and, of course, there will be more. When I'm done, I believe I'll be in the car okay $$ and have a great version of the best air cooled 911 in a beautiful, interesting color. Happy day!
On the down side, I'm going to sell my 991.2--I don't have the space or time to keep to keep two P-cars happy.

Hard to say depending on the damage that was done this could be one of the very last 964 C2's made. They only used 396 vin numbers for all of 1994 coupes this included 267 C4 widebody cars. So being Vin 300 is something you don't see everyday and we rarely see 94 C2's anymore since so few were made. Assuming it is clean needs nothing car I would say the price is right but what is selling in this crisis? So you might be able to get it for less. Problem is finding anyone to do a PPI. There aren't enough pictures to say what is going on.

Congrats! I ended up trading in my 991C4S to get my 964 and I am really happy with it. There was a Baltic Blue C4 from Auto Kennel iIwas trying to get but lost quickly before I made payment arrangements.

So you have one of the very last no doubt. Very hard to say with the C2 and C4 WB vins commingled.
Stay healthy everyone.
