Sorry my post was to concur with what Anthony was saying but also add that there’s more to this car than what we can see in the pictures.

Is it rare to see a silver one with cup wheels come up for sale? Because that's exactly what I'll be looking for when I decide to start my hunt.

Don’t worry about the wheels if you find a clean silver C2. Small detail in the grand scheme of things and you can always find a set of Cup I wheels.

That's true. I would keep the ones that I put on my 968 but I think having them on there will make it more desirable when I go to sell it.

Oh by the way, my wife looked at me today and said in a somewhat concerned tone of voice "so tell me about this Porsche you want to buy?" She's really frugal with money and usually puts up a fight. I explained how I intend to fund this next car and also told her it would probably never go down in value blah blah blah. She didn't say no or make a big deal out of it so in my book that's a green light for launch.

There is some damage to the bumper front left appearing on both sites as well and lots of what appear to be marks. My first thoughts after seeing the burn marks is thin paint. If paint isn't an issue why hasn't this car sold already? They do show the option sticker on Muscle car and it appears to have black mold on it.There also appear to be stickers normally not seen or in unusual locations in the engine compartment. My guess is this car was given the lipstick treatment but only first hand inspection will tell for sure.
It seems like the majority of cars at RMC are given the lipstick treatment. Buyers be careful.

i nearly purchased a black on tan '93 C2 with 45k miles from real muscle car in miami. PPI came back showing right rear fender had been painted. They advertised it as original paint,,,,and i didn't feel the car was worth 73k with un-dissclosed / miss-represented paint / body work. They did refund my deposit, and sold the car right away to another buyer.

Yup. I saw this on CL earlier today and emailed the seller but it's been crickets. I came on RL and sure enough, this car was posted here... hahaha. Hopefully an enthusiast gets it.

I've almost given up hope on getting a nice driver black/black 964 and I've been looking at 993's now.

it was indeed. ,,,i was there just a few hours after i saw your post,,,looked the car over for about an hour,,,, ready to buy it on the spot,,,,but he wouldn't sell it to me,,,,an existing long time client was also intrested and of course he ended up buying it. I've been looking nationwide for a long time,,,, the perfect car pops up 23 miles away from me,,,i'm the first one there,,,,ready to buy,,,and still couldn't get it. Not exactly sure what the odds on all that would be,,,, but it actually happened.

Wait let me get this right - you discussed the purchase of a car prior to buying it. I usually tell me my wife when the transporter is backing up to home- Honey I've been meaning to tell you but it somehow slipped my mind

Yea I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work in my house. Something to do with Brazilian temperament.
