Arrow The Amethyst 964, my first Porsche

As many of you know as regards to this thread, I have recently purchased my first Porsche: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...r-opinion.html

Imported from Germany to Sweden in 99, and then back to Denmark in 2014 where I purchased it this year.
91´ Porsche 911 Carrera 4, manuel
Amethyst Pearl
Black interior
Onboard computer, Cruise control, AC
No sunroof
Rear wiper delete
RS Ducts
Cup-rohr
Complete Bilstein B6/HD adjustable suspension
Weinkath C1 Speedline 18” Speedline rims
Aero side mirrors
Probably forgot something

Due to weather conditions I have to wait at least a couple of month to get it on the streets, so i the meantime I´ll give her a good buffing.

Besides working as an engineer I am a freelance photographer mainly shooting cars, so expect a lot of pictures once I get her polished (detailing geek with all the trimmings) and out in the sun: https://facebook.com/fluxdonphotography

For now she is stored in a "Classic" garage along side with many other fellow 911´s.

Very quick snapshots from when I personally pulled out the sales sign:

Once you open the door to a 964....who needs anything more.
Welcome and a great find that is one of the best and rarer color combinations. Enjoy!

Default Amethyst C4 with royal blue leather interior

Around 1998 I was in Lafayette LA on a business trip. I looked out of the window at the hotel one evening and spied what would have been possibly a 92 C4 across the street with a for sale sign in it. Pre-internet, at least for me anyway so it was for sale the old fashioned way with a orange and black for sale sign taped inside the windshield. Called the number and arranged for a test drive the next day. turned out the owner was a guy I had met years earlier, not a good friend but an acquaintance. The car had a bright royal blue all leather interior, blue dash, blue steering wheel and blue carpets. Thought it was a bit wild at the time with the colors .... Test drive went beautifully. Price wasn't bad, stupidly I didn't buy it because I couldn't quite figure out how to get it home.

I really wish I wouldn't have let that one get away. It would have been fun to own all of these years.... Amethyst with blue interior, how many of those could have been made ??

Great to know you have your amethyst car now!! Hang on to it!!

Great story, even though it´s a bit sad. I was beginning to fear that I was not fast enough to get this one my self.

Moin Dennis,

Really great that you made up your mind to buy this 964 :-)

As you wrote it has been in Sweden since 1999 so you would be able to retrive all the official documents since day one in 1999. And by doing this to get some more information about its history of owners and yearly MOT/TÜV.

I will send you a pm about details.

But it is a loooong waiting time until May to start playing with your new toy.

Thats all from over the bridge

Very nice! On my amethyst I took off the "Carrera" plate for I found it disturbing the harmony.

I thought about that too, or doing something else like brushed aluminum to match the lip of the wheels.

I would love to see pictures of your Ametyst

As regards to May, I might move that up to first of April instead
