Lovely car and some great pics on your Facebook page. Looking forward to hearing about your journey with the car and seeing some good pics when the sun starts shining again!!

Thanx guys, any suggestions to mods are more than welcome.
Only thing I thought about so far is the cassette tape holder to be replaced with a dual leather cup holder, and perhaps some sort of upgrade on the stereo headunit.
Once I get it on the road I´ll see if I want an upgrade on the air intake.

Porsche Book
Had my dad to do the Pre Purchase Inspection on this car as he was schooled as a mechanic in a VW shop mainly during Beetles in the late 60´s. After the inspection he gave me a gift that I should unwrap once I got home.
What he got me was a Porsche book, mainly with large pictures but also with the history of the different models, absolutely a great end to an exiting day
Everybody loves pictures:

Finally I have plates on the car! Passed the inspection with flying colors.
Picked her up at the workshop friday, and have had a absolutely awesome weekend with a couple of hundred kilometers. Got a few thumbs up from people on the highway, good stuff.
This was done at the Porsche workshop:
Major 20.000 km service with:
New spark plugs
Brake fluid
Oil change, filter.
Air filter
Valve adjustment, which it needed.
AC valve replacement, new gasket and filaments.
Some fuses was replaced.
New dampers for the front and back.
The workshop confirmed what I already thought I knew: The car is in excellent condition, and the first thing he said was that this car has not been living in this climate meaning it has only been used when the weather was good.
Sorry for the crappy iPhone images, but I have been so exited that all I did was pretty much wash the car, and then drive it.
At the gas station 4 strangers came up to me to talk about the car, including a 65 year old women who just loves "those cars"
Once I get the car properly cleaned, polished (it needs it) and waxed I promise I will take some awesome pictures.
