Only took close to 6 months to take a pic. There's a divider between the backs of the backseats, def. no red button. The seat backs don't seem to be attached but there's virtually no wiggle and nothing to fold the seats flat. This isn't the best pic, it's focused on the divider where red buttons are on most cars. Again, early '90 model...

^^ That isn't OEM. Not sure what it is, but presumably underneath are the connectors that were spoken about with the red tabs.

Given the divider and the stitch pattern on the cushions/backs, it looks like you may have a 993 rear seat retrofit.
Here is a DIY on how to remove if you want to poke around https://rennlist.com/forums/diy-subm...tallation.html

I had John at Protosport tune my C2. Using a mustang dyno I am seeing roughly BHP power at the wheels so roughly 290BHP Car has a cup air box, LWF, chip to John's design and magnaflow muffler using stock headers. I have to find the dyno charts but it is all good usable power.

What is "bump steer"? (I read wiki's explanation and still don't understand it)

I'm not looking for a technical answer (per se') What I want to know is what does it feel like? what are we talking about "through the steering wheel"?

thanks

(it seems everyone is wanting to reduce it) I don't get the feeling the my car wants to veer off course when I hit a bump. Can it be that noticeable?

You hit a bump your suspension compresses changeing the geometry of the steering cause the wheels to turn sharply the steering wheel wil jerk back and forth as the suspension compresses and rebounds and can get to a point what is called a death wobble not good

Definately 993 seat bases and backs. Nothing there is original 964.

Should be Al. Also, be aware the torque setting when tightening back up is comparitively low being aluminium (48ft-lb) - too tight and the crushed washer will leak.

Hoping the previous owner might know something but I didn't buy direct from him. The place where I found it specializes in pre-964 models. Perhaps that;s why it wasn't disclosed.

Silly request...I took the front hood off my RSA a few weeks ago to change the struts for the "frunk" as I could not prop the frunk open. I successfully changed the struts, but I didn't put the hood back because I managed to lose one of the washers. I know there are two screws on both sides with one one having a washer (or at least thats how mine was). That being said I wanted to know if someone could take a picture (or describe) the hood attachment point so I can place mine back in the correct order. Thanks.

^^ When I switched hoods, I had to "customize" the washer to get the new hood to fit properly on the existing arms. I think you may need to do a trial-and-error test to see what makes the hood fit best (and that may not have been how it used to be).
