Fresh air is always being pumped into your cabin as far as I knew. Mine does that.

It's not blowing super hard, just lightly.

" I have the parts for the Valve cover seal kit ready to go."

From my indie who is going to do my valve adjustment. What is he talking about?

You could always ask him to elaborate, but it just sounds like he has the valve adjustment kit ready, with all the valve cover gaskets, nuts, etc.

I definitely could. For some reason I was under the impression that a valve adjustment involved some thin piece of metal you stick into the valves as you turn the motor.

I'm just a bit worried as he quoted me what I think is a dramatically under-market fee ($250 or $275), and I want to make sure he's not going to destroy my engine doing something that's not a valve adjustment; some gasket kit just didn't sound like it was in a valve adjustment job description.

Bit silly but I thought 993 17 cups 2s were ugly/non grata and the runt cousin of the Cup1

.. But just mounted them temporarily to the 964 and quite dig em ... Just me?

I like the look. And more importantly they are lighter than the Cup 1s.

you need to take the valve covers off to do the valve adjustment. then you have to replace the valve cover gaskets otherwise you'll have oil leaks.

Here's a table comparing the different wheels by weight. The Cup 1 wheel is listed as a C2 T and the Cup 2 is listed as 993.

It's definitely a significant difference, especially since it's rotational mass.
