Mine just arrived and have an appointment on Thursday to install. They are a quality machined aluminum part and hopefully will do the trick (lowering front end by 1.5"). I will try and get some installed photos as well as comment on how the car feels and looks. In the meantime, here is what they look like:

Lucky you, mine just about arrived today however the parcel was 9p short on the postage charges so they took it away to be collected and pay the fine

So brought my car in this AM and got a call from the mechanic that with the collars installed, the car sits 12mm below Euro RS height. For me, that is too low so had them removed. The car could go lower but NOT higher than that. I have HR Reds/Bilstein HD's/camber plates, YMMV.

Not quite sure how your mech couldn`t get it higher ? is that with the collar screwed up to the top of the thread on the shock then .

still no sign of them arriving in the UK yet thought the parcel delivery that I missed was them but it was the bloody mother in law.

Nice looking collars but if the threads don't go all the way through the collar that's why you mech could not get it any higher...can't see in the pics if they do or don't ?

The threads don't look like they go all the way through the collar. Still not sure why you can't get the bottom of the collar higher than the lowest threads on the HD shock. The length of the collar looks shorter than my total adjustment range on the shock body.

GazC2, you're not having much luck with the post office! I am sorry but can't answer your question as to why the car can't be raised higher. I had it all figured out in my head but the real world has a way of making one humble. I will be interested to follow this to see if others have the same experience when trying to install.

Aye its all getting a bit frustrating however getting back to the collars you should be able to thread the collar to either the top or bottom of the thread on the strut, as Jon mentions I would have thought if the collar was screwed all the way to the top, the bottom of the collar would be about the bottom thread on the strut.

If only I had mine to check.

I agree.....the mechanic must have screwed the collar to the bottom of the threads

I'm also curious as to why they didn't decide to thread the whole collar or at least half way. Would've made for a lot more adjustability, and I can't imagine that the machining costs would be much higher.

Ok my collars have finally arrived all a bit protracted but moving on, they are a nice quality product however I can now see what Mark was talking about in regards the adjustment. as pointed out they are not threaded all the way through but roughly 15mm of thread from the top of the collar what this means is it immediately drops the spring approx 25mm from the lowest position with the standard collars in place and I suppose dependant what type of springs you have and if you were looking to drop less than 25mm this may be an issue.

I am hopeful this will be about right for what I`m looking for but wont know until I get them on the car another small point is they have a threaded hole on the collar i am assuming for a grub screw to lock them off however you are not supplied with the screw.

I will update when I get them on the car this weekend

Well couldn`t wait so popped out and fitted one side and its looking tickety boo this is it on the highest setting ground to wheel arch is 25.5" for rough measurement I will probably tweak it down a bit however wary of unloading the spring , will get it on the road next week and see how it feels.
