Your engine looks really NEW :-)

What kind of color did you use on the chain covers?
Mine looks very dull and I would like some touch up....
Did you do your own powdercoating or gave it a way to a specialist?

Some parts have started to trickle in, now I have to wait for the zinc plater and powdercoat before I can start re-assembly. I picked up most of the clutch parts today.

That's a fantastic looking engine

Just remember if you're installing this light weight clutch assembly that it has a specific way of going in and the friction plate will fit both ways. Only one is correct but it should say flywheel side. The stck manual only deals with the DMF arrangement and if you follow this you will put it in the wrong way around. There are some threads on the 993 forum covering this.

Black and gold engine - looks stunning!
Wish I'd done mine that way now.

Thanks guys.

Rob, jack.pe and your thread inspired me to go that extra mile.

dave964diver, thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to be extra vigilant.

P356GT, the timing covers are just painted with good quality engine spray paint, everything else was sent out for powder-coat.

Fingers crossed for NO LEAKS.
