Default RS Door panels

I am ready to make the plung and replace the factory door panels....RS without pockets. These are available from many sources. Any guidance on best quality(mtl, fit, finish) / authenticity?

seems AppBiz is a favorite here but search around and you'll find some custom designs guys have
done adding some design cues to the RS stock panels to make them more interesting.

AppBiz is the way to go! I just installed mine and I couldn't have asked for a better set of door panels.

Just purchased some appbiz ones, without covers. Great quality and lighter than id imagined. Bought a leather hide to match my interior (light grey), arrives next week. If kids allow ill upload all my pics some point soon.

Ps only reason I changed my cards is because originals were fooked.

Made my own, bought the vinyl from Southbound, and then the door pulls from a haberdashery, a couple of days work, and they're done....

Probable not the best method, but very satisfying none the less

Really on the fence here! Would love to install them on my 964, but my stock door cards are in pristine shape...

Well, removing the stock door cards and storing them will ensure that they remain in pristine shape

The only thing I don't like about my appbiz panels is that the red door pulls have soon faded to pink.

Curious question (apologies in advance for bumping an older thread)

For those that ordered from AppBiz and have a leather interior, did you notice a difference between vinyl and leather? Seems the older 911 guys like the vinyl, but haven't seen any testimonials comparing the two.

I'd love to get them but just don't know if the leather is worth the extra money or not...

Thanks!

Go for Appbiz but replace the door pulls with OEM. Expensive but the look and feel is so much better.

It's a personal thing and leather will be nicer..but the standard Porsche ones are actually likely to be Vinyl so why bother going to leather when you change your's to RS items? A full leather (as opposed to leather seat fronts and gear **** in the standard package) interior was an additional option, I don't think many cars had it.

I want to do these eventually. I am currently hauling around speakers in my door cards that I have no use for (radio delete).
