The tender springs are a bit different, they can have very stiff spring rates as well. But I will go for regular springs.
My questions is that will the shock work with longer springs safely. I am concerned about the longer springs will exceed the shock pistons range. say 10" springs.
I must had read somewhere saying 255mm RS rear. If 223 is the correct height, then 9" rear springs should be good enough.

The length is only one aspect, you also have to account for spring rate. A longer spring with a softer rate and you may end up right where you're at. Do you know the rates of the current springs?

Looks like you have enough droop travel to set the car to a decent ride height.
Wind up the collars to set the ride height to the highest position possible with the current springs. Measure the ride height the car is at w/ those max height settings.
Consider your ideal ride height. Measure how much higher you need to set the car to go from the current highest to the ideal right height. The different between the highest height and your desired ride height is how much longer you want your springs to be. You might want to add 1" to that difference number so that you can adjust the car to a higher ride height if the need ever arises.

got the 9in 400lbs springs in. put it on one side, was able to achieve about 1 in raise over the original 8in springs. But the perch is also on the highest point of the shock body. leaving me no more visible threads.
this will post problem when it goes to corner weight.
now i am looking for 10in springs, but they only come in at 2.5 inner dia. my setup uses 2.25 inner dia.
Thomas has suggested me to go with 2in 400 lb tender springs along with 8in main springs to get this done.
couldn't find them after a quick search on summitracing. Any idea where i can find these springs?
How about spring spacers? Is there such thing?

Try Partick Motorsports, last time I browsed they have a lot of Eibach springs, but not everything is listed on the website.

Here's my solution thus far.
Seems to be working just fine. I've got the ride height I wanted. More fine tuning tomorrow. but super excited getting this to work. Hopefully My road test after will be just fine.
This piece is a 2in spacer made from Aluminium.

Alex, It wouldve been a wise choice for me as well.
today was short, I was able to dial close to RS spec. got dark, no pictures yet. I will do one final adjustment next weekend. then off to alignment. One week should be enough for the spring to settle right? Car looks awesome with the RS ride height.
Current measurement.
FL 127mm, FR 129mm
RL 226mm, RR225mm
I was too deep into the setup, just wanted to make it work. Here's another shot of all the components

could have been from 993. I had to add a 14mm-12mm sleeve bushing in the front strut lower mounting hole.
I bought them from a RSA owner. He switched back to oem.

Now I spot the difference that explains why you have a problem and I don't. I have much more threads in both directions, more or less all the way up and down. Mine are the correct version for the 964RSR so Jason could be right, these could be from a 993. This is the reason it works for me with 160 mm long main springs.
