Hi Frank,

I hope you are keeping well?

Can you swop me onto the carbon fibre list please?

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Many thanks,
Paul

Hope this doesn't sound like a GB hijack - but linked to from the bumper air vent thread I found these - which look a lot more like the splitters that Cup cars had 20 years or so ago...

I'm out!
Sorry but I don't like fiberglass and carbon fiber is too much expensive!

Frank,
If it is fiberglass, please remove me from the list. Plastic, yes all in, but fiberglass, no. It will look like crap after the first bottoming out.

yup it appears to me that cult-werks front splitter appears better than this one by quite a bit....and no fiddling around trying to mount it either they have the screw holes in the correct place already....heres the picture from their web site.....I am going with theirs

www.cult-werk.com

site is in german though so translate

I spotted this one on German eBay a few weeks ago too. I have this in fibreglass at the moment but this one sounds good... Didn't want to pollute Frank's thread by advertising this as he's clearly gone to a lot of trouble, but if the supplier is changing the spec...

It is cheaper to buy from their German site than on eBay. Big draw is it's plastic and sounds like it's made to fit well. My FVD version fits pretty good but like I say, needs painting every so often or after a European jaunt!

Stuart: isn't gel coat still a coating, i.e. once chipped the fibreglass beneath will still show through? That's my understanding anyway. Although it is harder wearing anything painted or not the same colour all the way through will get chipped at that level.

Hey Frank,
If material is switched to fiberglass then essentially it becomes what I had ordered once from HK and returned back...I'm out, but thank you for your effort.

Frank, I am also going to drop out due to them not being plastic.
Once again thanks for the initiative and your time for organising the group buy.

Really sorry Frank but I'm going to order the Cult Werk splitter. It's a bit cheaper and is the look I like and crucially for me is plastic. Sorry mate. I know you put a lot of effort into this group buy. I really wanted to support a British manufacturer and I'm sure they will look great...

Sorry Frank, but I'm going to leave this too. If it had been around the £150 mark (inc VAT) and black plastic I'd have bought one.

Sorry Frank, I am out too. Not keen on the GRP - was interested in the plastic.
