Frank, really appreciate the work you put into this - but apologies - I'm going to duck out too - too much for fibreglass.

In light of the German plastic alternative I'm going to bail as well. Appreciate all the effort involved.

Maybe a group buy from Cult Werk?

I've asked them. I'll wait to hear and start a new thread when I do.

I'm going the Cult-Werk route as well. Plastic can handle the punishment I plan on giving it better than fiberglass.

Yes, Stan Gel coating is of course another layer, but is relatively thick and will take a lot more knocks before the plain GP would show through.

Frank, it does seem that Plastic is the choice for most and the cult werks item will suit most people. I still on the fence at the moment., but what's been said about GP is true, any knocks and you're looking at repairs, re-paints etc etc

I am not a fan of fiberglass at this price point. I will drop out. I will continue to monitor the thread for updates though.

Thank you Frank for all your efforts ... I think we all appreciate what you have been doing.

Fiberglass won't help me as I was looking to replace the rennspeed ones I already have with more durable plastic, so I will drop out.

I'm sorry Frank, but as others have noted, the price is too high for fibreglass. Thanks for your hard work.

My genuine Techart was plastic and it took a real battering over the years....I'd have had to replace it a dozen times over if it had been fibreglass. Shame that it's too damaged to repair

Hate to do this as appreciate the effort but with an alternative available at a much lower price point it would be crazy not to. I'm out.
