You don't need to order, you can just take over my order

I don't have a 964 anymore, so a splitter would be surplus to requirements

Of course. I was merely the facilitator not the producer.

Agree with all of the above but its grass roots businesses like these that look after people like us. I tend to deal with the like in a much more flexible way...at the end of the day I want them to succeed, then I can get more cool stuff (fyi LWS have plenty of ideas). The power of social media can quickly wipe out such businesses...so we need to weigh up short term issues with long term benefits...

Looking forward to seeing the splitter - especially the CF one!

Here we go! Finally the splitter arrived today. I cannot begin to tell you how strong this splitter is. There's absolutely no flex to it even in the thin areas. This is one seriously tough splitter that would take a very very serious beating to break. This is the plastic one. It has a certain weight to it which explains it's strength. It's a very dense product. The finish of the flat surfaces and edges seems very good. The screw holes finishes are decent. I'm probably being ****. The none seen surfaces are smooth and you can seen the infused plastic. Overall I would give the product, Strength 10/10 Finish 9/10 Screw holes 8/10 Weight is heavier than the standard covers. I will try to get some time to fit to the car today and take pictures to evaluate fitment. Once painted I'm sure it'll look awesome.

I hope I don't get banned... I'm not here to sell...just to comment :-) Firstly many many thanks to the patience of the group buy people, hold our hands up communication should have been better and sorry I was not able to keep timescale promises, not making excuses but it frightening how days, turn to weeks and weeks to months with very long days working and no days off but that aside... we should have done better on that front and i hold my hands up to that.

It is good to see Franks first thoughts on the product. A couple of points.. this is the first one so it was built heavy as we had some issues with the splitter de-moulding once the moulds was completed and so we have over-engineering the first one.. they will get lighter as we continue to refine the production process , the finish will not suffer but the strength will slightly as you might expect. Always a trade off... The carbon ones will be very very light... bearing in mind our 964 bonnet is 3.5kg and roof is 2kg that give you an idea of the carbon weights..

Happy to help with any queries and once fitment confirmed we will start to get the rest of the orders out (Actually we have started the second already as are confident it will be perfect but didn't want to tempt fate and mention it...hmm done that now!)

Thanks again for the support for our business.

Frank - thank you for arranging this for us! The quality apparent in your is SO much better than the cheap eBay versions I have on my car at the moment... I can't wait to see my CF one...

Andrew - like MF_RSR, I applaud smaller shops that support our cars with quality products. You have my patience! Thank you for your entrepeneurship and artistry; they are appreciated.

So!

I fitted the part. Getting all the holes to line up for screwing was difficult - mainly due to my lack of talent, poor light and lack of lift.

Yes, I'm blaming my tools!

Anyway there were a few screws I didn't manage to fit. Overall the fit was very good and I feel confident the body shop will manage fine.

So as to give you all the conclusive feedback asap - I will try and get the splitter painted/ fitted by the end of next week. Stay tuned.

Have to say the splitter does looks magnificent. Poor light + black car + iPhone = I will take pics tomorrow in the sunlight.

So nice to see the body finally finished - really was the last touch I was waiting for.

I'm looking forward to seeing my carbon one in the flesh, thanks.

Thanks also to Andrew for seeing this project through.
