Hi Jotaking,
Thanks mate! There's no hope for me I'm afraid, I've had it since I was nine years old
Thanks again,
Paul

Hi,
While I'm on with the complete brake upgrade I've decided it's time to take off the 964 Turbo rear callipers and replace them on the M030 rear discs with the more correct 993 rears callipers.
I've managed to salvage a pair from www.prestigesalvage.co.uk and the sent them to Thomas at pro-calipers.co.uk for a refurb, including repaint, new seals, cap and Brembo fluid. Total cost just about £600 including postage, so a good saving on a new pair, in the UK anyway.
Some before and after pics:
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Frank,
Thanks mate. Not yet, I'm still waiting for the new A/C pipes. The engine is all tight, so as soon as we finish the brake upgrade and connect the A/C back up it'll be final map and rolling road.
Andrew says I'll have the splitter next week, fingers crossed, then it's brake ducts and new front inner arches. Then like you, I think I'll take a breather and drive the **** off it over the summer.
Enjoying your thread on the other channel ha!
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Guys,
We have some progress, the 993 brake upgrade is now completely installed. New 993 items: brake booster, gasket and master cylinder, mounting bracket and 55 bar brake bias valve (see previous page for parts details).
Also fitted but no photos yet, sorry, are the re-furbed 993 Big Red rear callipers to match the (previously installed) rear disc upgrades and off came the 964 turbo rear callipers. If anyone needs them make me an offer, there are photos of them earlier in this thread (before the 993 items).
We have also changed the rear FabSpeed silencer for their "anti-boom item" which is more suited to a 3.8 power unit, fingers crossed it will do the trick. The one I had fitted previously isn't ideal for a 3.8. This is the best pic I have of it so far but when I get the car back I'll post some more detailed shots.
We're now just waiting for the bespoke A\C pipes to come back from manufacture by Pirtek which will arrive next week the we're on the road again. Just in time for the Silverstone 6 Hour Race to watch the LMP1 cars first outing with Mark Webber and colleagues on 20th April, I hope
While the car's been down at Redtek over the winter I've been collecting a few parts. Unfortunately I won't have time to fit the Techart style carbon splitter (thanks again Frank) before we go but the bits look good so here they are.
The splitter carbon parts are raw with just the epoxy as they came out of their moulds. What I think I'm going to do is have them sprayed with a matt epoxy varnish to give a deep and even finish while still retaining the matt motor-sport look.
I'll also fit the new front inner wings and FVD Brombacher RS style brake duct system which I purchased last year.
Before all that though, these are going on and I make no apology for showing them again (Fuchs for 964)
I will need to fit these on the rear, 15mm H & R magnesium alloy spacers.
Talking of 3.8's I've also bought this tasty little billet aluminium item (from Patrick Motorsport) as the only clue to what might lurk underneath.
A couple of photos from last year to finish.
Cheers for now
Paul

I hope Raymond approved
There were no blanc looks, he's a charming man and very funny.
His valet drives some nice cars as you would imagine but he had a huge grin when he gave me my keys, followed by lots of questions.
Cheers,
Paul

Great update. Look forward to seeing the wheels mounted.
Paul it all looks mint, you could have that all fitted in 30 mins if you get your finger out!
Have you chosen a splitter?
Arh yes, I've been telling myself to get up there for a weekend.
Paul, The car is looking great, with some really nice upgrades. Looking forward to hearing more once the final mapping is done etc.
