Do you have a post or a list of what it took to get you there?

It's in an old thread some where, but the car is more or less built as a cup but with the undersealing and some other stuff left. But the short version:
Adding weight:
-Turbo 3,6 brakes F/R
-Heigo roll cage
Reducing weight, body:
-Without sunroof and rear wiper from factory
-Front hood in carbon fibre, with motorsport hood pins
-Air intakes instead of lights
-Plastic main lenses
Chassie:
-RSR suspension, lighter than stock
-Nylon bushings, lighter than stock
-Manual steering rack
-Smaller battery, similar to RS/cup
-BBS E28 wheels
-Smaller horn
-Only the small washer bottle
-no rear undertray
Interior:
-no padding, just an appbiz carpet
-Rennline cover instead of lower dash
-No airbags
-993 Cup steering wheel
-Cup/RS door cards
-Bucket seats
-Wood floor boards
-No stereo/speakers
Engine:
-Heater bypass
-no A/C
-MAF-kit i carbon fibre
-Cat bypass
-Cup pipe
-LWF fly wheel
That's more or less the weight items. Then there are other stuff like 996 cup LSD, cup swaybas etc.

Out of interest what is the stock weight for a manual C2 with no aircon, I've found two weights 1375kg and 1350kg, not sure if either are correct and if it includes fuel
, only when on my bicycle

Hi!
No spare wheel, tools etc. The weight is "track ready".
Thanks for your kind words, here's a nice pic from last years visit to the Zolder circuit in Belgium. One of may all time pic favourites!

superb shot Thomas .. what's the cage weigh?
Ahab - greetings! I think I'm at 1225 kg since I added the bigger (Cup1 oem) rims
and 993 rear calipers ... need to check when carpets and foam is in ...note no cage tho

Thomas,
Thanks for the clarification and great picture.
My posted weight in my signature is also without spare, 2 litres of washer fluid, 1/4 tank of petrol, retains sunroof & PAS, all steel OEM panels. Rothsport did some "bracket trimming" inside & out.
Next project will be replacing the fat OEM battery with a super lightweight one. Will also remove the brake backing plates which should see me at 1220kg.

I think a full Heigo cage is 33 kg.
Aside from list above there are a lot of small things I've done, like backing plates, the plates under the seats so the DME is moved ro the cup position, poly bushings are lighter, cup engine mounts and so on, a smaller signsl horn, no sun visors and so on. It runs very well now :-)

Yea, Zolder was fun. A very very warm day though! This year I'll think we're going to Zandvoort for the first time. also a classic curcuit. And then probably the new Bilster Berg.

It's the one place where sliding around (everywhere) is encouraged! Great skill-builder too for the road driving.
