Not just a cosmetic mod. - there is actually a several lbs weight loss switching to aero's from flag's.

Like most things on my car, that was my motivation for the swap.

5 bills beats 10 bills, but it's still a grip.

Very much on the fence. There are days that I am all about them, then I see my car with the flags and like it so I don't know. I guess if a pair ever fell on my lap.....

Thats pretty much where ive ended up. Also giving thought to the ones that are mounted up against the window, not on the door skin. Not sure what theyre called...

Yeah, love the cup mirrors too, but don't want to have to fill holes on the door.

I do love the cup mirror on Brian's 964 though... Same with the 911Jetta's mirror set up.

Did you check Porsche Sunset Imports? I find their prices on original parts to be better than anyone else... Do not get me wrong, I buy a lot of stuff from Wayne at Pelican Parts... but some of those items you really have to shop around...

And yeah... they look good installed in our cars...

You will also get actual gaskets on the cyl. heads !

that might be true.....HOWEVER....if you buy a shell and build it yourself....you can have flags that way you can get a larger view of the losers who thought they were fast sliding backwards and getting a real good look at your taillights vanishing....then spending the extra far too much money on aeros and drop in a 3.8 and then dress her to kill.....

I do love the carbon fiber plane and end caps.....they look fantastic

I hate to bump this but I don't see an answer to my question!

I have a set of aero mirrors with bases and new seals that I want to toss on my 964 with flag mirrors. Is that all I need to do the swap or do I need some more parts in order to fit them to the car?
