Best way to get aero mirrors

As far as parts go that is all you need and a little bit of buffing as the new bases have slightly different outline so you want to match old paint with the one hidden by old bases.

HiWind,
Here's a pair of RHD www.ebay.co.uk item no. 121289444379
Not cheap but they are all intact and it seems to be the going price, often the posts are broken or the bases and seals missing.
No affiliation.
Good luck,
Paul

Flags have larger viewing area but they also create whistling noises and have a tendency to vibrate at high speeds. They look fine on the accordion bumper cars but look dated on the 964.
You can find aeros on pelican all the time. They range between $350 to $500 a set depending on condition.
The problem is the wiring is different for the aero and flag mirror. The flag uses the harness from the 944 which runs through the door into the car itself. The aeros use a separate 964 harness which has a smaller 6 pin plug. You will need to cut your harness or remove the connector inside the flag mirror to retain the wiring. If your car has been resprayed you may have to spray again due to the different shape of the mirror base.
I have a nice set of black flags with decent paint I will be selling at Hershey along with tons of 964 parts. Look for my thread.
