So I take it that $400 shipped for these in my color is a good deal?

I found a set for $340 on eBay a little while ago. They are yellow though so I still need to factor in paint

Anyone have a good lead on any? I've been looking for a few weeks and can't seem to any under $600 for a used set off of ebay. Is that really where we're at these days? Has anyone tried the ones from Better Bodies Motorsports?

I know they're knock off's, but for under $300 and not having to hack up my original harness, I don't know, might be worth it. Anyone have any experience with them?

I'd hold out for real ones. This is actually a pretty good deal, this is a manual set, just use your motors and wiring. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/3713397...chn=ps&lpid=82

i looked at those and I reckon they are the goods - however, trying to buy them proved problematic (no answer to enquiries). For the amount of times you actually USE the electric part of the mirrors, I couldn't justify the cost. Ironically, in the end, I just did the Viatoli mirrors instead !

I actually prefer the look of the flag mirrors over the cups. Think they just like right on the car.

FYI, I'm having these installed on my car now (bought the mirrors a while back). I bought mine used, in Guards red from a guy in FL, and there was pretty aggressive fade on the top. Good quality paint + install charged by my shop is $300. I'd also recommend buying new gaskets at the bottom, think they're about $15.

So for those thinking about this:

$400-500 for the mirrors
$70-300 for paint/install/wiring
$15 for gaskets

Think the cheapest you'll make it out for is $500, most expensive closer to $800.

Aero mirrors painted and installed. Not sure this is really a mod worth an $800, but now that that is water under the bridge, I think they look awesome. Really brings the car out of 80's.

A gratuitously artistic photo...

And a post car pickup In-n-out with the new aero mirrors making an appearance.
