Best way to get aero mirrors

They're on the Members only FS section.

They're power, they're not painted, they're in need of the actual mirror lens, and I think you'll have to source some mirror bases too.

actually, since those are manual, thats not less. PP has the manual kit for $480 +$216, so the same price.
I would want to stay with power mirrors, so parts plus paint is still about a grand. Just didnt know if there is a common way to get them for less, since I don't envision that many guys paying $1k for a cosmetic mod.
Guess I'll try a salvage yard. Maybe they dont know the true value of these mirrors! What year cars would I be having them look at?

Howabout you spend $0.
Can't wrap my head around why everyone updates to the aero style. I mean, the aero's look great on the 993 and match the round and soft overall design of that car. But on the 964 the flags look better.

The great thing about aero mirrors , our cars with the better flags become more unique and we have more flags to buy cheaper .

I found and bought a set of electric aeros here a few months ago and now that I have them I'm not so sure anymore. The flags do have that more classic look that really fits the cars shape better. I'm holding on the aeros just in case there's a sudden change in fashion trends.

I picked my set off of eBay for $300-ish, and I kept my flags in the event the next owner would like to go with the factory look.
I also found door handles on the Pelican forum that were $200...
IMO I like the way my 964 looks with the modernized upgrades, opinions will vary with the crowd, do what you want with your 964, always keep the original hardware, flag mirrors were pulling down a whopping $65 on the used market at one point, you can't find a descent set of floor matts for that price.

The best way to get aero mirrors is to buy a '92 - '94 model.....
You will also get actual gaskets on the cyl. heads !
