gladly picked these custom rotors up from the guy who makes a fair chunk of the rotors for some of the spec GT, Sport cars and Spacer frame race series here and in Oz ... best part was the unexpected unsprung and rotating weight loss, thanks to the (black annodised) alu hats. I recon thats a 1.6 X 2 (rotors) X 4 (factor) = 13 kg loss - will see how times look
I run this same alloy & slot design from this supplier with similar cooling design (but floating) on my cup and they're going strong after almost 2 seasons ie 800 laps or 3000km ... so I'm happy with the wear especially as they are 30% cheaper than the stock/oem or zimmerman rotors. I also love the directional vanes - the zimmer vanes were not. Should help with cooling and pad/rotor life, and I def prefer the slot to the drilled.
He also makes billet calipers per the pics - pure metal **** - gladly/sadly I dont need new ones after my refresh of a few months back but will keep an eye on mine and the flex - visible when bleeding once they age - which those billet ones don't show (or to a much lesser degree). Best of all the pad size with those billet 6 pots is mammoth .. would be bigger than my 996 cup's (322mm I think) even on my 964s smaller 298mm rotor .. stuff of dreams.
Pads - will run EBC blue stuff for the first time with these per his suggestion (also supplier Brembo, Pagid, Ferodo and PFC) .. as they're good for road too and quiet ... anyone using them?
The pics explain it all .... will hopefully be able to fit them this week!

He made me rotors for my 322/32mm 996 Cup using the same approach ie using my old stock rotor so yes,
although not sure he makes the billet calipers to fit those .. those above are for a GTR race car.

I used to run them for DEs on a 997, and the stopping power is good. They don't last long if you are hard on them, but are comparable to OEM.

Hats and rotors in stock 964 size?
Hiwind... did I mis-read this? If so, where do you purchase. I am about to do a brake job and would love to upgrade the stock front size....

TT you have pm but yes, they are lighter, cheaper and seem to last as well if not better based on my 996 cup car experience with the same. No squeal yet but have only been on a few weekend 1-200km runs, not on the track but pedal feel is very similar to the Pagid rs29/19s I had (yellow) but wheel does feel a tad lighter but that just might be my mind.

I'd like to know more about these lighter rotors for the front. Are they speced for 964 RS/TT or are they spec for 993 TT? I'm looking into getting the adaptor for this conversion as well.

Netbug you should see bill verburgs excel sheet on brakes .. these are 298mm ie I think RS not TT
I'm using my stock 964 front calipers and 993 rears.
