I just noticed that there is no brake/clutch fluid reservoir in the singer frunk. Maybe I'm behind the times, but how did they pull that off? Do they use the giant windshield wiper reservoir in the fender well instead?

This was at our C&C this morning. I would kill for the 4.0L but could do without some of the rest of it.

Apologies for the non 964 content, since we're talking of '74 RSRs I thought my G-series Outlaw may be of interest.

She's running a forged 3,5 Ltr sprint cam'd engine developing 350HP. Full coil over conversion, carbon 13 brake package and strengthened 915 with LSD.

She's an absolute riot, a loud and dangerous animal that's not for made for a sleepy Sunday cruise.

Stunning.

Makes me miss my 74 3.0RS clone. The RSR was all that and more.

Sorry I really didn't have much interest in it kind of turned me off. I was talking to one of the PCA experts listed in Pano while there and he was picking it apart. It was funny we both had the same complaints about it but mostly the price for what you get. He was outraged that any good clone or tribute like this would use base clear vs single stage. LOL

There were far nicer cars at the event than a singer. Although I still lust over that 4.0 L engine.

I brought my turbo and my wife the C2 and it is amazing how things have changed. I think both cars got equal attention. Very possible more people asked me about the C2 than the turbo. A few years back that wouldn't have been the case.

There was a red 51k mile 3.6T that someone was crazy enough to be asking $365k for. The wheels were the wrong color and they polished the etching off as well

I had never seen a Vector in person before. It was far scarier than I expected. The owner also owned the red 3.6T and he had a white WB speedster there for sale also overpriced. There were a bunch of 964's but I guess I didn't take as many pictures as I thought. Flying Tomatoes 964 was there and it looked great. But for me the 73 RS in yellow was a car worth spending big money on. As nice as I have ever seen.

Cobalt,
You're messing up this perfectly organized 60+ page thread!
LOL, I see a duck, Pepita fabric, and a "Singer" mention, it's it a legit post.
Great pictures by the way.

From Pelican, posted by TRE Cup:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/957707-what-do-you-think-cool-option-964-lamps.html

What do you think of this ? Cool option 964 lamps

We have been brainstorming how to early look the back of a 964 . Check out these new lamps. All handmade using original bosch 964 tail lamps. The donors have the plastic delaminated, then custom cut plastics are molded to fit. We end up modiying the individual nacelles for reflector, running/brake, back up (normally in the center reflector),amber side turn and side corner reflector

The car owner would wrap cover the center reflector (as that has back up lamps in it originally).

What do you think? Kind of a neat Porsche prototype interim design, eh ? contact us if you want a set built for you

Might look good with a paint matched center reflector, but they look out of place in the pics above IMO.

More pics of a recent AP Car Design Project. Stock outside, subtle retro touches inside.

The 3.0 RS (narrow body?) look would be much easier to accomplish than a longhood conversion.

DP Facebook:
Coming soon: Porsche 964 conversion to 911 3.0RS Look (backdated).
For all 964 Carrera 2 and 4
