I like the flat spoiler, but no curtain + such little venting in the front = i bet that car runs hot.

Hey I spotted that on the road in a recent trip to CA. Posted it in the random pic thread:

The first was just north of the Bixby Creek Bridge on Hwy 1 on 8/4. The second was in San Francisco on 8/8.

Yes, so it is but uopn the donor car, anyone asked about the budget? No mention of build price but I dare say it would be a large chunck of cash.

The PS Autoart 964-based cars start in the £125k range these days, including donor car, but price varies a lot because of the huge scope for personalisation. The Monaco car in that article was a fair bit north of that number because of some of the expensive detail bits on it, maybe £10k or more over that number.

I have seen projects which are pushing over the 150k mark and possibly getting close to 200k. With RS now going well over £1m these guys are still on 10-15% of the genuine article so expect to see lots more of these in the pipes.

OK, now I'm stalking this car. Wow, I can't help myself...

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-9...lue-turbo.html

Look at the state of the car at the beginning of the project!
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-9...-my-build.html

Owner's comments about the build:
We custom made the ducktail in house. Took 12 versions to get it right. I put 2000 miles on this car in 21 days driving around Carmel and up to napa. It is light and very fast. A blast to drive.
Took 3 years to build. All custom.. Put 2000 miles one it over the pebble beach car show weeks. A hotrod...
FULLY LOADED with options like.
Sunroof delete, A/C delete. heat delete, Radio delete, RSR interior. Manual windows.
Power lock delete. Muffler delete... Lambda delete....
1991 Brumos 3.6 Turbo Hot Rod
