it's a process where they spray your car with a sort of rubber paint-it costs $900 to paint the whole car, and then you can peel it off yourself, when it's done...i was thinking of doing it to my RS...anyone tried this?

here's my wheels, after the dip...
i think i'll definitely do the whole car...i was thinking matte black, and then orange wheels...the thing about this whole dip thing, is that it's cheap enough to try some kooky stuff, i think...
.i looked at some cars they'd done, and was very impressed-it's not a concours thing, but it looks great

Looks mean as hell!
I'm with you on the possibilities with Plastidip. Have fun with your car.
Plus it might not be a bad idea to spray the whole car as winter is arriving, as an extra layer of paint protection. Then peel it off to perfect, clean paint in the spring...
It's also great to use as a "track bra" instead of rolls of blue tape.

IDEAL for spraying your battery tray area and it will stick like shrink wrap and protect against acid leaks from battery. I believe it can be bought in aerosol form in small cans. Also because it is being sprayed inside the car you can spray an extra thick coat and when you want to remove just peel off.. The beauty is no priming or sanding just spray on
