UK 964 Track Day Club

The morning was very slippy which lead to some hilarious moments in the chicanes and tight corners where the old girl just wanted to shake her booty.
By early afternoon there was a dry line and by the end I wasn't far off my normal pace...although I had to always exercise caution through Druids and Lodge which never really dried out.
With only about 40 cars booked on we had loads of track time in the afternoon. I've got some video from late in the day when I went out with Ian to film his red GT4 from my car.
If I wind back the clock a few years, the owners of three cars above (one being me of course) were driving these on track....

Sounds like you had a better day than we did at Silverstone yesterday. Monsoon stopped play at 2pm! My wipers couldnt keep up above 80mph, standing water everywhere. And since Paul Sage was late finishing the cv boots on the C4 I had to take doczilla, I actually had to double check the "low boost" setting because it felt rather like "high boost" to me.

OK, so a little later than advertised......I've got another couple in the 'can' which I'll try and post up over the weekend.
Excuses first....it was damp off line and a very busy day so hard to get a reasonable pace consistently....(other excuses to come )

Brands Hatch was fun yesterday, Jack.Pe, Cheeksyboy, Freedman and yours truely in attendance. Grant had some problems with the noise authorita sadly which restricted his running rather but the rest of us had a blast

Indeed, was a good day (barring the somewhat draconian MSV management of the day)
Still stumped about Grant and the noise Police, seeing as he was nearly 3dB lower than myself and Giac at the static test, and we had no issues
