Default Who has the OZ Alleggerita on thier 964?

Show your pics!

I know Stephane (Pchar on this site) just bought some and has posted a one pic but who else has them on their 964? Post any pics you've got. Also comment on their durability as a daily driver or track car rim.

Thanks

Here's a few shots, I was just toying around with the new Go ProHD.

The right height is pretty close but still need to be tweaked a bit. I am running 8 front and 9 rear 225/255 on Yokohama Advan tires 40/35 profile.

Are those black or graphite color Stephane? They look great! The second set of Cup 1's I bought on here showed up bent and damaged from shipping. I am having them straightened and powder coated. I think gloss black but the dark graphite color may be an option too after seeing your new wheels.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Were they packed as well as mine,...

My new wheels are actually Anthracite Color,.. whatever that is. It's actually a nice dark gray charcoal, and really stands out well against the Midnight blue. They would probably offer a nice contrast as well with your Red Cab, then again it's all a matter of personal taste.

Has anyone put 285 rear tires on a 91 C2 turbo. Any rubbing problems?

on a C2/C4, the 265 fits easily with the correct wheel offset ... so a turbo with wider guards, I would guess the extra 20mm to fit a 285 tyre would be easy. .. but I am only guessing with some reasonable logic. how much wider are the guards on a turbo?

They look awesome. Has anyone used these on the track? Are there any concerns of their strength for track duty?

I see them on cars at my local PCA autocross almost at every events. I have yet to test mine, but it's the idea. I was looking for lighter wheels than my Cup 1s for autocross puposes.

find the oz alleggerita thread on here (but maybe in the 993 forum or somewhere else here on RL) with a few posts by the tirerack guy who posted the strength compared against some popular track forged wheels. the result was they are good enough not to worry, and as good as some forged wheels.

Friend uses them as his track set on the 997 GT3 RS. He's had no issues with them.
