SEBRO rotors, opinions please..
Hi guys...
Now I have to do my valve adjusment and I'm going to change rotors and pads (again), I will put original pads (I don't want to waste money again).
The only web that I found that ship the rotors to Spain in a cheap way is Rosepassion, and they sell SEBRO (300€ the 4 rotors). I don't want any kind of noise, squering or something like that..
Is that a good brand, another alternarnative is Zimmerman, a local dealer sell them but they are more expensive (500€)
Regards

Three Wheelin'
I have used Sebro rotors on my tracked 944S2 - work very well though I do think they wear a lot faster than OE ones. 964s use the same rear rotors as the 944S2 and Turbo.

Not sure about the Sebro.
The Zimmerman rotors are Z coated so the don't rust.
Sebro is OEM, but I am not sure if they are coated.
Zimmerman is OEM, I always thought Zimmerman is what the car had originally, and your hats wont rust.
ATE also coats their rotors.

Earlier I think it was more or less only Sebro but now it depends on the model. I think it's Sebro for our cars but Zimmerman for the Boxsters and so on. But Sebro are top quality made in Germany and they are coated, and they were coated before Zimmerman started to coat their rotors.

Not since BEFORE the 964 was produced... Unless you've seen their name (or Sebros) on a supplier list from Porsche (going back 15+ years) or on a document coming out of PPN don't believe it. We went down this road a few years ago. I don't know if things have changed in the last few years so I can't say whether or not SHW is still the sole supplier and if Sebro is or isn't. What I do know is that OEM is not OE, especially when it comes to brake rotors & pads. Despite what the marketing departments of certain companies might tell you.
Anecdotal evidence from the racing forums over here would suggest that the Zimmerman's are not even close in the longevity department.

That could very well be. I can't find any dates on suppliers. What I do know:
Both Zimmmerman and Sebro are listed OEM Porsche suppliers. Although some state Zimmerman was never an OEM Porsche supplier.
I need to do rotors on my car, I was just going to go with Zimmerman but if Sebro is the way to go I will go that way.
I know ATE did the hydrolics and Brembo did the calipers. I think someone else did the pads.
