Thanks Bill, the previous owner put it on and I really like the size and feel. The receipt shows it as a 911 GT Sport steering wheel, part# AJR 348 090E, from AJ-USA in San Diego. He paid $739 for the wheel and airbag back in 2004.

So if you have a 89 (non airbag) is it a simple swap from wheel to wheel including hub extender? Do the t/s, wiper, cruise stalks function fine without any modifications?

Yep. As long as you buy the correct hub with the wheel it'll fit. The wiper stalks etc are a separate unit and not affected by the wheel.
