Will take a shot on the way home... But I have a black 3-spoke boxster/996 wheel with silver crest and it doesn't look out of place.

Hi all,
In just bought my first Porsche, a marine blue 964 and I am looking at aftermarket steering wheels. I am keen to see what you guys have done.
I will post some pics when I pick it up. It's getting it's wheels painted black and RS style door trims installed. it's all very exciting!

Genuine 930S. The genuine ones have the inlaid crest and the split seam all the way to the horn pad. It's the best wheel I've ever used. I have a 03 Boxster S with the OE 3 spoke airbag wheel and while the 3 spoke airbag wheel is very good, the 930S is thicker and the leather is much grainier and feel higher grade.

When I bought my C2 a year ago one of the first things that was going was the stock steering wheel.....but....it's grown on me....I no longer mind the look of it and it works well. Sure a suede Momo or OMP threespoke wheel would be nice but I dont "have" to have one anymore...funny how things change :-)

I bought my car with this Momo wheel with a part wood rim which I thought at the time was horrible. However, I sprayed the spokes black and replaced the horn button with a better Porsche logo and now I've grown to quite like it - its certainly comfortable and convenient to drive with...

Yep, saw one brand new in the box at a local Porsche show a few years ago. They wanted something like $700. Ive seen them pop up on eBay and Pelican Parts a few times. From what I can tell its from the late 80's.
